Operation


The Operation Department of this hospital started in the month of Mangsir of the year 2056 B.S. The first surgical procedure performed in the hospital was a Cesarean Section (CS) for delivering a baby. It was initiated by Dr. Tarun Paudel. In the past, this department has conducted surgeries such as hernia repair, hydrocele surgery, and general surgical procedures. Currently, it performs various surgeries including knee replacement, DHS (Dynamic Hip Screw), K-wire plating, HR (Hip Replacement), nasal and ear surgeries like ear repair septoplasty, foreign body removal, head injuries, neck abscess drainage, Ludwig's angina drainage, neck cyst excision, lymph node excision, split ear repair, keloid excision, tracheostomy, Rosa Laparoscopy surgery, appendectomy, cyst removal, and abdominal hysterectomy. Currently, the department conducts an average of 6 to 11 surgeries per day.
