To effectively and efficiently address gender-based violence, the government has launched the Hospital-Based One-Stop Crisis Management Center (OCMC) program for gender-based violence. The main objective of this program is to provide all necessary services to victims of gender violence or affected people through a single system as soon as possible. In order to run the OCMC program effectively, the Ministry of Health and Population has created a national strategy and action plan for ending gender-based violence and gender-based empowerment 2069 and a one-stop shop on hospital-based gender-based violence.The Crisis Management Center Establishment Operation Guideline 2077 has also been released. The center has been providing health treatment, psychosocial counseling, medical legal services, security, shelter, legal treatment and rehabilitation free of charge. Physical treatment should be given to the victims of violence. Mental counseling, medico legal means medical evidence collection services, their capacity building, empowerment, legal treatment services also come under this. It also includes education, decent social rehabilitation or reunification services.

OCMC also plays a role in creating an environment where people who have been subjected to violence can live well in society or at home. All these services are free.In this hospital, there is a management committee under the coordination of the chief district officer, while there is an advisory committee under the coordination of the head of the district coordination committee. Coordination and cooperation with various agencies should be done while providing services. Integrated services and OCMC programs cannot progress effectively only if the Ministry of Health takes the lead. This program has been approved by the courts, security agencies, and non-governmental organizations.Government institutions are also looking at it as important.
