(MPDSR) Programme


A total amount of Rs.284000/- (Two Lakh Eighty Four Thousand) was allocated under the Integrated Reproductive Health Program for Maternal and Infant Death Review Program in this Dhaulagiri Hospital to make the Emergency Obstetrics Service EOC effective under the Mother Safety Program run in the hospital. As part of the Maternal and Infant Death Review Program, the Maternal and Infant Death Review Committee was formed in the hospital and a group of working health workers and staff was conducted for one day refresher training. In this program, the historical background of infant and maternal mortality, the purpose of the program, the vocabulary used in it, the maternal and infant mortality review form, as well as the analysis of infant mortality and maternal mortality in the hospital, are presented to all health workers and employees to be sensitive to the program to save the lives of newborns and mothers. It was discussed about initiatives and actions that can be done by us. Also, if a woman suffers from any of the various problems that may arise during the emergency delivery service and is admitted to the emergency or internal department of this hospital and dies during the treatment, then the woman should be treated by health workers. To find out possible rescue efforts to find out if any unsuccessful measures could have been taken to save him, and if the child was born dead after the 22nd day of the mother's pregnancy, or died during the treatment within 7 days of birth, even if the child was born in a normal condition, we will also report to that institution any efforts of the hospital. The related health workers sit down to review each other and follow the results of the review themselves during the treatment, the work was done in this hospital under the Maternal and perinatal death review (MPDSR) program. On 2079.1117, a one-day maternal and child death review program was conducted in this hospital.
