Maternity Section / Safe Abortion

The maternity section is located on the second floor of the hospital and has been providing services since the establishment of the hospital. In this section, admission, maternity services, post-delivery services for mother and child are provided if necessary. There are 15 beds in this ward. There are 2 maternity beds, 5 beds for those in labor pain and 10 beds for postpartum and other for admitted patients. This hospital has general and complex maternity services, free admission and surgery (C/S) maternity services, admission and treatment services for pregnant women, admission and treatment services for women with gynecological diseases, admission and treatment services for pregnant women, VIA services. From 1st Shrawan 2078 to Asar 2079, there are 1996 people who have received maternity services in this ward. In normal conditions, OPD are checked properly to get service in this hospital while in case of an emergency, admission, treatment and referral are done directly in the maternity ward or from the emergency room as needed and services are provided by 9 Skilled Obstetrical Workers (SBA) trained nursing staff. A warm bag is provided free of charge to the client who has given birth. Rs.2000/- for transportation expenses and Rs.800/- incentive allowance is given to those who have been examined in 4, 6, 8 and 9 months as per rules.
